Everyone knows being on holidays and desperately searching for a little something to bring those who had to stay home. Especially when trying to find something for your love the best is just enough! And this is how Silversand Jewellery was created.

In 2007 the avowed board-junkie Chris Sitterz was on a surf-trip in Portugal and had that very problem – what to bring home for his girlfriend?

After an unsuccessful search for some jewellery that had the looks, the spirit and the quality he decided to take matters into his own hands. So then he started to design and manufacture his first hand-made necklace without using any gold or silver. Instead of using these precious and noble materials he took brass, bronze and leather. At the end of the year 2007 this first necklace should give birth to Silversand Jewellery. By beginning of 2008 the first collection was completed, very much embodying the surfing vibe.

The Polynesian and Indonesian themes together with the characteristic colour of the used materials spread out a warm and joyful atmosphere letting you forget everyday life for just a moment. Meanwhile Silversand Jewellery has the right thing for everybody from the beach to the city.

At Silversand ideas are collected during surftrips, adventure-travels or on any other day of life in the urban jungle. These ideas are then put down on paper before every single item gets manufactured by hand in the best possible quality – this is what Silversand Jewellery stands for.

Our mission is to give those people out there something special that allows a short escape from everyday life and that reveals a little bit of one’s own personality.
